Jeff Hardy Pleads Guilty To DWI Charges

Jeff Hardy is the current United States Champion and one of the top stars on SmackDown Live, but a few months ago Jeff Hardy was arrested on DWI charges in Cabarrus County.

WBTV is now reporting that Jeff Hardy has plead guilty to the charges. He was given a 120 day suspended sentence and a fine of $300. Hardy will also have 120 days to complete 40 hours of community serivce.

According to the police report, Hardy allegedly, “ran off the roadway … striking about 105 feet of guardrail before the back end of the car spun out 90 degrees … coming to rest in the middle of the right [north]bound lane of travel.”

After the accident Hardy registered a .25 blood alcohol content on a breath test he submitted, and it was estimated that he did $8,000 of damage to his 2016 Cadillac and $5,000 to the guardrail.

As of this writing Jeff Hardy is currently scheduled to face Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live.
