For months now everyone has been talking about Matt Hardy’s WWE status, and on March 1st his contract with World Wrestling Entertainment came to an end.
Matt Hardy is now a free agent for the time being, and the wrestling world is waiting to see what he’s going to do next.
Former World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy appeared on WWE Backstage Tuesday night, and he shared some positive news when he revealed to the world that he’s been cleared to return.
Jeff talked about Matt’s status on WWE Backstage and note that he hasn’t spoken to Matt “hardly at all” about what’s next for his career.
He added that even if they’re in different wrestling worlds he thinks it’s still cool that The Hardy Boyz can go their own way and do their own thing.
As of right now it’s not clear where Matt will be going next, but it’s rumored that he will be joining All Elite Wrestling.
