Lately everyone’s been talking about Matt Hardy’s WWE departure, but it’s been a while since fans have seen Jeff Hardy in the ring.
The former WWE Champion suffered a leg injury shortly after WrestleMania 35 last April, and he’s been out of action ever since.
However, The Charismatic Enigma delivered some positive news to fans this week on WWE Backstage when he revealed that he’s cleared to return.
Jeff also addressed his contract status and noted that his deal was set to expire on March 1st, but WWE added time to the deal because of his injury.
While speaking about his DWI arrest on October 3 2019, Jeff said that the next morning on October 4 he checked himself into inpatient rehab and it was one of the best things he’s ever done for himself.
It’s not clear at this point when he’ll be returning to the ring, but he’s currently scheduled to be back in court on April 6, which is the day after WrestleMania 36.
