New Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins cut a promo on Raw, and he was interrupted by Finn Balor, then eventually The Miz and the Miztourage.
Miz and the Miztourage attacked Balor and Rollins, but Jeff Hardy returned from injury and made the save. A 6 man tag team match featuring Hardy, Balor and Rollins vs. Miz, Axel and Dallas was booked for later in the show.
Roman Reigns made his way to the ring to cut a promo during Raw, but he was interrupted by Samoa Joe who made his return to TV. Samoa Joe announced that he’ll be facing Roman Reigns in a singles match at the Backlash pay-per-view next month.
This week’s episode of Raw saw a few debuts from NXT stars, as Ember Moon and No Way Jose got called up.
At one point in the show, Heath Slater cut a promo calling out any tag team that thinks they can defeat him and Rhyno, and that’s when the Authors of Pain answered the challenge.
The Authors of Pain squashed Heath Slater and Rhyno, and as they walked up the ramp, they put their fists on Paul Ellering’s chest and let him know to stay behind as they ditched their manager.
They celebrated at the top of the ramp as Ellering looked on and shook his head.
