JBL managed to have a Hall of Fame worthy career with WWE, but throughout the course of his career a number of people have accused him of being a bully. A fan on Twitter recently shared an excerpt from Hardcore Holly’s book which detailed a heated exchange between JBL and Steve Blackman and Buff Bagwell responded to post with the following claim:
“Bradshaw attempted to end my career in a dark segment on Smackdown, I’m glad he’s grown up from those days.”

After Bagwell claimed that JBL tried to end his career the former WWE Champion stepped in to defend himself by saying that the claim is simply not true.
“Buff-this is simply not true. It was a powerbomb, a called spot-and I landed you flat, which is safe. No different from anyone else I powerbombed back in the day-stiff, yes, dangerous—no. This is first I’ve heard of this. Not doubting what you thought-but zero intent to injure.”

Buff Bagwell then followed up by telling JBL that he appreciates the explanation regarding the claims that he tried to end his career.
“I appreciate that, you know how it goes, people talk and I was dumb enough to listen.”
