It’s no big secret that Roman Reigns isn’t loved by everyone. Half the fans cheer him, and half the fans boo him. It seems that much of the resentment that’s directed at Reigns from his haters is due to the fact that WWE has presented him as someone that’s been hand picked to be the next top star.
The reaction that Roman Reigns gets when he enters an arena is always a hot topic, but whatever he’s doing it seems to be working, because Roman is reportedly the leading the pack in merchandise sales for full-time WWE stars.
One man who certainly doesn’t seem to be a Roman Reigns hater is JBL. The SmackDown Live commentator likes to go on rants on the WWE Network show Bring it to the Table, and he directed his latest rant at “internet fans.”
“Let me tell you this, for all these internet fans out there that want to hate Roman Reigns and say ‘no, no, we’re standing up because we don’t like him.’ Few people in the history of this business walk into an arena and everybody stands on their feet. Everybody. I’ve seen it night after night after night. That to me is an absolute superstar. Whether you love him, whether you hate him, Roman Reigns has eared his spot, and I’m hot at all these little cry babies out there going ‘no, no, no, we really just stand up and boo him because we really don’t like him.’ Oh really?”
JBL’s comments didn’t go over so well with the “internet fans” and you can check out some of the reactions below.
@thewadekeller https://t.co/Br6LBFOqdH Does WWE not realise the "internet fans" are the ones that spend the money? Crazy group-think logic.
