The past few weeks have been interesting for Jason Jordan. After winning the Raw Tag Team Titles with Seth Rollins, Jordan and Rollins dropped the belts to Cesaro and Sheamus at the Royal Rumble, and Jordan spent most of the match sitting outside the ring.
It was reported that Jason Jordan was dealing with an injury, and WWE confirmed that he underwent surgery last week. According to the report, Jordan had an injury to a disk in his neck which resulted in significant pain, and he underwent a minimally invasive posterior cervical microdiscectomy.
WWE didn’t give a timetable for his return, so his status for WrestleMania was up in the air, but it looks like he will be missing WrestleMania 34 in April.
Raw General Manager Kurt Angle made his way to the ring on Raw this week, and he talked about Jordan’s injury. He confirmed that Jordan will miss WrestleMania, and the crowd responded by chanting “yes.”
Angle then criticized the crowd for saying negative things about an injured Superstar missing WrestleMania, but as he was giving his little speech Seth Rollins made his way down to the ring.
Rollins asked Kurt to make the Fatal 4 Way main event a Fatal 5 Way, and Angle agreed to add him to the match. If Rollins wins he will get the final spot in the Elimination Chamber match with the winner going to WrestleMania 34 to challenge Brock Lesnar.
