Sunday night’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view featured two epic Royal Rumble matches, and several titles were also on the line.
The Usos managed to retain the SmackDown Tag Team Titles when the defeated Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin, and Brock Lesnar also retained his Universal Champion after defending against Kane and Braun Strowman in a triple threat match.
However, Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins weren’t so lucky, as they dropped the Raw Tag Team Titles to Cesaro and Sheamus who became champions for a fourth time.
During the tag team title match Jason Jordan spent most of his time sitting outside the ring acting as if he were hurt, and when he tried to enter the match he ended up tagging Seth Rollins right back in after acting dazed when he entered the ring.
According to Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jason Jordan is still currently dealing with a back injury which is preventing him from taking bumps.
Jason Jordan’s storyline with Seth Rollins has been one of the main angles on Raw over the past few weeks despite the fact that Jordan hasn’t been getting physical, so we’ll just have to wait and see where it goes from here.
