James Storm Expresses Regrets About Working With The Hardys

Before Matt and Jeff Hardy made their triumphant return to WWE they were mainstays in Impact Wrestling. The Hardy brothers participated in several entertaining programs with a plethora of TNA stars including Cowboy James Storm.

Although the relationship between Impact Wrestling and The Hardys ended up souring, The Hardys experienced a great transformation in their career while they were under the Impact Wrestling banner. They left a little piece of themselves in the former Dixie Carter Land, and their Broken Universe wasn’t the only thing they lost.

Riju from Sportskeeda recently spoke to James Storm where he opened up about working with Matt and Jeff Hardy during their run with Impact Wrestling.

“Any time I can get in the ring with Matt and Jeff is a lot of fun, because they’re so over it really doesn’t matter what happens in the match. The crowd’s going to be excited and have fun. Shows you how over the Hardyz are and have been for the last fifteen years.”

James Storm’s DCC and House Hardy had a nice little angle going but it didn’t really last as long as some people would have liked, including Storm. He expressed some regret over how it all went down. But in the end, he can’t really do anything about it and has adopted the mantra: “it is that is is.”

“I think we could have gotten more out of our DCC and Hardy angle, but you know it is what it is. No use crying about the past. But yeah, anytime I can get into the ring with those guys it’s a blast because they’re two of my favorite guys I like to wrestle with whether I was a good guy wrestling evil Matt or a bad guy wrestling Jeff Hardy. It’s always fun.”

As James Storm’s career continues he will have other chances at great rivalries in the ring. But at this rate, it’s unlikely he’ll get another shot at The Hardys unless it happens in WWE or they meet someday in the distant future in the ocean that is the world’s indie wrestling scene.

It certainly sounds like James Storm wouldn’t mind getting in the ring with Matt and Jeff once again, and it’s a match we wouldn’t mind seeing either.
