James Storm had a brief run with NXT a few years back, but ultimately he decided to return to Impact Wrestling and reunite with Robert Roode to reform Beer Money.
However, Roode later parted ways with Impact to join WWE, and he’s currently part of the Friday Night SmackDown roster.
WWE recently posted a video highlighting five surprise appearances in NXT, and James Storm took the number one spot.
A fan commented on the video suggesting Beer Money should reunite in WWE, but Storm said it’s up to the powers that be.
Robert Roode was suspended a few weeks ago for violating the WWE wellness policy, and he’s currently waiting out the remainder of his 30 day suspension.
Roode has worked in the tag team division quite a bit since getting called up to the main roster, but it remains to be seen if WWE has any interest in signing Storm and reuniting Beer Money.
