Randy Orton is a 12 time WWE World Champion and a future WWE Hall of Famer, and it doesn’t look like his career will be winding down anytime soon. Orton is still in great condition and he’s set to challenge Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 33 on April 2nd.
Despite the fact that Randy Orton has been extremely successful, WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts still thinks that The Viper is missing something. Jake recently spoke to Sports Illustrated and he said that he’s offered to help Orton, but he has yet to receive a response.
“Randy Orton has a lot of going for him. He’s just missing that last little piece. I would love to spend time with him and see if I could help him. I’ve offered that before, and no one replied, so there you go. It hurts because I love the business and I want to give back to it. It’s a damn shame that I reached out and didn’t hear anything, it made me sick to my stomach.”
Randy Orton isn’t the only WWE star that Jake Roberts seems to be concerned about, as he also commented on how WWE officials are handling Bray Wyatt. According to the WWE Hall of Famer, he feels that Bray Wyatt has been watered down, and he needs to do something drastic to establish himself as a top heel once again.
“It’s great that Bray is champion, but my worry is that they’re pulling him away from his character,” said Roberts. “The people were chanting, ‘You deserve it!’ to him on Smackdown after he won the title. Is that a chant for a heel? Hell no, but that’s just the nature of the business these days. Bray needs to do something really nasty, and now is the time. He needs to be the one to do something crude and wrong.”
Although Jake “The Snake” Roberts seems to think that Bray should stick to being a heel, there are others who would like to see him turn face.
What do you think about Bray Wyatt’s future? Should he remain a heel or should he try working as a face? Sound off in the comments below.
