Jade Cargill is the current WWE Women’s Champion and Rhea Ripley earned the right to challenge Jade for her title at WrestleMania when she won the women’s Elimination Chamber match.
Recently Jade and Rhea have been locked into a heated exchange on social media and Rhea briefly posted an Instagram story which said, “Not having fun. Not friends. Learn to work and never lie to defame someone’s real human character by ‘breaking the 4th wall.'”
PWInsider is reporting that the back and forth between Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley was not something devised by WWE creative. It’s being said that a number of sources are placing the blame on Jade Cargill for the blow up.
One source noted that Cargill has been criticized by a number of talents for rubbing people the wrong way. When the back and forth with Rhea Ripley began on social media it wasn’t hard for other talents to join in and make their voices heard.
The source added that this isn’t the first time Jade Cargill has upset others, and it was intimated that when there were reports of Jade being hurt last year the real reason she disappeared and spent time at the WWE Performance Center was to let personal issues that were going on at the time subside.
Another source tried to downplay the situation, but admitted that they expect management to step in and speak to Cargill about her relationship with the rest of the locker room. The source noted that everyone in the locker room has been happy to do what needs to be done to get Jade over, but the feeling is the respect they show her has not been reciprocated. It was described as Jade feeling “insecure” when she shouldn’t have any reason to feel that way.
