Jacob Fatu has become one of the stars to watch in WWE ever since he debuted with the company, and he’s faced off against some of the top stars on the roster. Earlier this year Fatu was involved in a feud with LA Knight and Fatu recently admitted that one of his moves did go as planned while he was facing off against the Megastar.
During an appearance on the Rich Eisen Show, O’Shea Jackson Jr. asked Jacob Fatu if he ever hit an opponent a little too hard and he had an interesting response. Fatu recalled an incident where he accidentally hit LA Knight in the face with his knee, but The Samoan Werewolf didn’t specify when it happened.
“Oh, man. So, I think I backflipped on LA Knight’s face before. I did, yeah. I backflipped, man. My whole knee came down. I mean, hey, man, we be having good matches. Most of the time I’m on point… I think I did catch Knight, bro. Damn. I probably should have never said that. Shout-out to LA.”
LA Knight and Jacob Fatu faced off in a one on one match back in April during night 1 of WrestleMania 41, and Fatu managed to defeat Knight to win the WWE United States Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All. The two stars also clashed in a few multi-man matches throughout the year.
Currently LA Knight is set to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Clash in Paris when he faces Seth Rollins, Jey Uso and CM Punk in a four way match. Jacob Fatu is a member of the SmackDown brand and he is involved in a feud with Solo Sikoa’s MFT stable at the moment.
