Last week’s episode of SmackDown featured a shocking ending as Solo Sikoa returned and attacked Cody Rhodes as the show went off the air. This week’s show kicked off with Cody Rhodes cutting a promo where he addressed the competitors who have qualified for the Elimination Chamber so far.

Drew McIntyre interrupted Cody and they went back and forth for a few minutes before Jacob Fatu made his way out with Tama Tonga by his side. Fatu insisted that he would be beating Braun Strowman and Damian Priest later in the night to qualify the Elimination Chamber. Drew McIntyre teased a possible match with Jacob then exited the ring and left Cody alone with Jacob and Tama Tonga.

The cameras cut to the backstage area and showed Solo Sikoa arriving to the arena. Cody immediately went to go after Solo, but Jacob Fatu said he needs to talk to Solo about family business, so he’s going to have the first word.

Later in the show Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga confronted Solo Sikoa in the locker room. Jacob asked Solo to tell him what’s going on. Solo said he needed time off because he hasn’t been himself ever since he lost the ula fala to Roman Reigns.

The former Tribal Chief said he let Jacob down, he let Tama Tonga down, and he let the family down. He said he’s ok now, he’s ready to go, he’s ready to take over like they did before, but it starts with Jacob winning the Elimination Chamber qualifying match, and bringing the Undisputed WWE Championship back to the family. As Jacob was leaving Solo grabbed his arm and told him he loved him.

Near the end of the match Braun Strowman ran into Damian Priest sending him flying over the announce table. Strowman then chokeslammed Fatu on the announce table and rolled him back into the ring.

Jacob Fatu got the upper hand then set Strowman up in the corner with a chair around his neck. He ran at Braun, but Braun got his foot up and kicked Jacob in the face.

Braun Strowman then set Jacob Fatu up in the corner and put the chair around Jacob’s neck. Strowman yelled “Eye for an eye!” Before he could run at Jacob, Solo appeared out of nowhere and hit Strowman with the Samoan Spike.

Jacob Fatu connected with a moonsault on Braun, then Cody Rhodes ran out into the arena and attacked Solo. Tama Tonga attacked Cody from behind and held him up for Solo. Cody ducked and Solo accidentally hit Tama Tonga with the Samoan Spike. Jacob Fatu got heated and grabbed Solo Sikoa. They had a brief stare down before Damian Priest pushed Jacob into Solo and clotheslined Jacob over the barricade.

Cody Rhodes hit Solo Sikoa with the Crossrhodes on the floor as Damian Priest got back in the ring then hit his finisher on Braun Strowman to pick up the win and qualify for the Elimination Chamber.

After the match Cody got in the ring and shook Damian Priest’s hand.
