According to verified WWE insider, MetsFan4Ever on Reddit, the WWE is showing interest in an NXT run for Samoa Joe. Specifically Triple H is the one showing interest in Samoa Joe. Vince McMahon on the other hand isn’t showing much interest but it appears that Triple H is going to push for a try out run with Joe. Joe worked for WWE briefly between 1998 and 2001 but not much came of his run.
It’s also worth noting that Triple H who is known for not following TNA wrestlers on Twitter started following Joe back in July. Joe then followed him back shortly after. For anyone who isn’t familiar with Twitter, in order to direct message someone on the social media platform both users have to follow each other. However anything involving their social media interaction is purely speculation and there’s no indication that WWE or Triple H were a factor in Joe’s TNA departure.
Paul Heyman also seems to be interested in Joe as per the tweet below.
