upon a time, Enzo Amore and Big Cass were seen a team that had a lot of potential down in NXT, which could be why they were seemingly fast-tracked to the main roster. Over the past two years, the duo has gone from fan favourites to two of the most disliked characters on the Raw roster as word spread that neither man was well-liked in the WWE locker room.
Big Cass’ political opinions were definitely seen as one of his biggest downfalls, whilst Amore seemingly has the ability to rub anyone up the wrong way when it came to his attitude. That being said, it was thought that the longtime friends would always have each other’s back, but this may not be the case.
The current Cruiserweight Champion recently appeared on Straight To The Source with Corey Graves on the WWE Network where he talked about the real-life heat between him and his former teammate. Enzo claimed that he and Cass don’t talk anymore. This stems from the fact that Cass was unable to finish their match on Raw a few months ago when he injured his knee, which then led to Enzo Tweeting a number of updates which were seemingly harsh, but in character.
Amore is someone who is never out of character so it is hard to tell whether or not he was playing the part and telling Corey what he wanted to hear. Enzo and Cass were once so close that they lived together and Cass helped Enzo through a number of injuries of his own, so it’s hard to believe that one match made the duo throw that away.
As the video shows, Enzo tells a completely different story and even stated that he doesn’t talk to his former best friend anymore.
