The Internet Reacts To WWE Great Balls Of Fire

In case you haven’t heard, WWE has announced a brand new pay-per-view and it’s called Great Balls Of Fire. No, this isn’t a joke, that’s really the name. I’ll give you a second to stop and let that sink in. Are you all set? Ok, let’s keep going.

So, as we established, WWE now has a pay-per-view called Great Balls Of Fire, and it’s set to take place from Dallas, TX on July 9th. It’s also been confirmed that Brock Lesnar will be defending his WWE Universal Championship at the pay-per-view, but his opponent has yet to be announced.

Back to the subject at hand, the pay-per-view is named Great Balls Of Fire. Once again, that’s a thing.

The show is a Raw exclusive PPV, which means that in the weeks leading up to the event we’re going to be hearing the Raw roster cut promos that somehow incorporate the title Great Balls Of Fire.

We can also expect to hear Michael Cole talk about balls quite a few times as the event approaches, so that should be fun.

If you’re having a tough time figuring out why WWE would go ahead and name a pay-per-view Great Balls Of Fire, don’t worry, you’re not alone.

There are plenty of people on the internet who are just as baffled as you are, and you can check out some of the reactions below.
