It was recently announced that Thunder Rosa would not be able to defend her AEW Women’s Championship at All Out due to injury, and it was also announced that an interim AEW Women’s Champion would be crowned in her absence.
On Sunday night Hikaru Shida, Toni Storm, Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker faced off in a four way match with the interim AEW Women’s Champonship on the line, and it was Toni Storm who walked out with the gold.
Near the end of the match came Toni Storm hit Jamie Hayter with a spiked piledriver then Britt Baker threw Storm out of the ring and pinned Hayter for a two count. Toni Storm then hit Britt Baker with a DDT and followed up with a DDT on Hayter for a three count to win the match and the belt.
