A few years ago Kurt Angle was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and he later became the Raw General Manager. Kurt’s run as Raw General Manager went on for a while, but now that he no longer holds a position of authority in WWE, he wrestles from time to time.
The last few matches Kurt had on Raw didn’t go very well, and the former WWE Champion struggled to pick up a victory.
However, this week on Raw Kurt Angle made Jinder Mahal tap out to the ankle lock.
Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Kurt Angle’s victory on Monday was his first singles win on WWE programming since 2006 when he beat the Brooklyn Brawler during an ECW taping.
