Back in January Drew McIntyre won the men’s Royal Rumble match, and he went on to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36 last month.
Luckily for Drew he managed to defeat The Beast and win the belt, and on Sunday night he defended his WWE Title against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank.
Drew McIntyre managed to retain his belt, and after the match he showed some serious sportsmanship when he shook Seth’s hand.
The WWE Stats & Info Twitter page noted that at Money in the Bank a former NXT Champion defended his WWE Title against another former NXT Champion for the first time on pay-per-view.
Seth Rollins didn’t manage to win the WWE Championship on Sunday night, but he did manage to get a lot of people talking when he debuted a new entrance song. You can check out his new theme here.
