The Miz and Dean Ambrose certainly aren’t strangers. They’ve been feuding on and off for a while now, and their feud picked up once again when they were both moved to Raw in the recent WWE Superstar Shake-up.
Raw General Manager Kurt Angle was able to make it to Raw this week, so Miz and Dean Ambrose worked as the co-General Managers, and things got a little out of hand, to say the least.
Miz earned himself a shot at the Intercontinental Title last week when he beat Finn Balor and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match on Raw, and this week Dean Ambrose booked Miz in a one on one match with Finn Balor.
Miz tried to pull a fast one during the match, but in the end Finn Balor put Miz away with the Coup De Grace after Dean Ambrose restarted the bout.
Later in the night The Miz got a little bit of revenge when he hit Dean Ambrose with his own Intercontinental Championship belt in the main event. The interference from Miz helped Bray Wyatt pick up a win over Ambrose, and next week Ambrose will face the man who cost him a victory this week.
WWE has announced that Dean Ambrose will defend the Intercontinental Championship against The Miz on Raw.
