WWE confirmed on Raw that Kevin Owens will be putting his Intercontinental Championship against 6 other men in a ladder match at WrestleMania 32. Owens will be defending against Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Stardust, Sin Cara and Zack Ryder.
Kevin Owens faced AJ Styles on Raw and he defeated him with a roll up after Chris Jericho provided the distraction. After the match Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz all came to the ring declaring that they deserve a shot at the title. Kevin Owens said he would talk to The Authority to setup a triple threat match to determine the number 1 contender. Owens got the match made and that was that.
Kevin Owens came out to work as the ring announcer for the match, but instead of introducing Zayn, Ziggler and Miz, he introduced Ryder, Stardust and Sin Cara. Those three men then faced off and the match ended in a no contest after a brawl broke out and everyone chased Owens off.
Owens then went to Stephanie McMahon and told her that no one deserves a shot at his belt. That’s when she informed him that he would be defending his Intercontinental Championship in a ladder match at WrestleMania 32.
