We’re currently on the road to WrestleMania 42 and the WWE roster is trying their best to stay healthy as we get closer to the big show. Recently there’s been some concern about Nikki Bella’s status as the WWE Hall of Famer was recently seen wearing a walking boot.
During this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Wade Barrett officially confirmed that Nikki Bella is “currently undergoing some rehab” in order to be ready for the fatal four way match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 42.
Barrett also confirmed that Nikki Bella rolled her ankle last week on Friday Night SmackDown when The Bella Twins faced off against Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss in a tag team match.
Judging from the announcement it appears that WWE officials are hopeful Nikki Bella will be able to step into the ring for the big title match at WrestleMania. Currently Nia Jax & Lash Legend are still scheduled to defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against The Bella Twins, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss and Bayley & Lyra Valkyria on the Grandest Stage of Them All later this month.
