So far 2017 has been a rough year for a few members of the WWE roster who have suffered injuries. But as we all know, with injuries come returns and former WWE United States Champion Rusev made his return to the ring at the live event in Vancouver on Saturday night.
Rusev faced off against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a US Title match at the event, which Kevin Owens won.
The Bulgarian Brute has been out of action since March and he announced a few weeks ago that he would be coming to SmackDown Live to demand a title shot, but Rusev has yet to appear on the show.
Now that he’s officially back in the ring, perhaps we’ll see him make an appearance on SmackDown Live this week.
Brock Lesnar is set to appear on Monday Night Raw this week, and he’ll be hyping up his upcoming Universal Title match with Samoa Joe at Great Balls of Fire. Lesnar is part of the Raw roster, but he has worked live events with the SmackDown crew in the past and it looks like he’ll be doing just that in July.
F4Wonline.com is reporting that Brock Lesnar has been added to the July 29 WWE live event at the Joe Louis Arena. Similar to the last live event that took place at the same location, this show is being advertised as WWE’s final event in the Joe Louis Arena
On this week’s episode of Still Real Radio we’re talking about the fallout from the Money in the Bank pay-per-view, James Ellsworth handing the briefcase to Carmella, the possibility of Samoa Joe becoming Universal Champion and more.
