The WWE main roster recently went through some big changes thanks to the Superstar Shake-Up, but it looks like one Raw star who’s been sitting on the sidelines due to injury could be making his return to the red brand shortly.
PWInsider is reporting that Jason Jordan is set to make his return later this month, and he could be joining WWE on the road as soon as next week.
Jason Jordan underwent minimally invasive surgery to repair a nerve issue in his neck back in February. Prior to his surgery, Jordan found himself in a high profile storyline with Seth Rollins, so it should be interesting to see how he’s used when he returns.
John Cena’s rivalry with The Rock has been well documented, and the animosity between the two Superstars led to them main eventing WrestleMania two years in a row.
But nowadays John Cena’s relationship with The Rock is quite different, as they’ve put their differences aside, and The Rock recently said that he considers Cena to be one of his best friends.
Today The Rock turns 46, and John Cena took to social media to wish his friend a happy birthday.
Happy birthday to the standard bearer, the hardest working person in the room, an inspiration to myself and many around the world…and he’s my boss #HappyBirthday @TheRock
