The members of the WWE roster have been trying hard to stay healthy and ring ready, but unfortunately a few stars have fallen victim to injuries over the past few months, Braun Strowman is out of action due to an elbow injury, Emma is currently rehabbing a shoulder injury and a few months ago Cedric Alexander suffered a knee injury.
Alexander has been sitting on the sidelines for a while, but it looks like we’ll be seeing him work inside the purple ropes very soon. PWInsider is reporting that the 205 Live star is set to return to WWE TV this week.
Jay Lethal is one of the top stars in Ring of Honor, and he held the ROH World Championship for over 400 days. Lethal recently spoke to Fansided about his best memories from his title run, and the former champion says he was just happy to share the accomplishment with his family.
“Yeah, it was the day it started. The coolest part to me was having my parents in the crowd. They’ve really been my biggest supporters. For the first five or six years of my career, my dad went to every wrestling show that I had. Even when plane tickets were offered to me, we drove instead. So, he was there the whole beginning run that I had at Ring of Honor; he actually saw Ring of Honor grow from the ground up. So, the coolest part about it was having my parents there because they saw when I first started wrestling altogether, first started wrestling for Ring of Honor and the evolution of Jay Lethal. Now, there’s a company known around the world for its wrestling and I was their world champion. It was an amazing moment, and like I said, my favorite moment was my parents in the crowd.”
