NXT star Tye Dillinger has been out of action since January as he’s been recovering from a knee injury. He made his return to the ring during Thursday’s NXT live event in Columbus, OH.
Dillinger faced off against Apollo Crews in his return match but ended up losing. You can check out a clip from his return below.
On a related note, Tye Dillinger recently spoke to WWE.com about whether or not he gets nervous before his matches. He had the following to say:
“I actually don’t want to go through the curtain. Literally. My nerves and excitement build throughout the night, right up until my music hits. Once that happens, I am so nervous and excited that I literally want to turn around and run home, but no one ever accomplished anything great by going backwards. I set very high expectations for myself to put on a great show for the audience in attendance or watching worldwide, so that is where my nervousness stems from. It fuels and motivates me, creating that “rush” you hear so many other Superstars speak of. It will always be there and has been for over 14 years. The day that goes away, I don’t belong in WWE anymore.”
As we mentioned above, Thursday’s NXT live event took place from Columbus, OH which was the location of the first NXT live event outside of Florida. Triple H commented on the milestone for NXT and you can see what he had to say below.
