CM Punk may no longer be a WWE Superstar, but WWE fans definitely haven’t forgotten about Punk. Even though he left WWE 4 years ago, fans still chant his name often at WWE events.
Recently fans chanted his name during the main event of WrestleMania 34, and during the Raw after WrestleMania as well.
Apparently AJ Kirsh, AKA indie wrestler “Broseph” Joe Brody, isn’t a fan of the chants, as he recently took to Twitter to rip on fans for playing with beach balls and chanting the former WWE Champion’s name during matches.
Kirsch apparently feels that fans who bought tickets so that they could partake in these activities spent a lot of money to let the world know they’re an a**hole.
I wonder how much those fans spent to throw beach balls and chant @CMPunk's name.
I mean…tickets to the show, flights, hotels, food, and probably drinks and maybe merch.
That's a lot of money to spend just to show everyone you're an asshole.

Since he made it a point to tag Punk in his tweet, he got Punk’s attention, and he also got roasted by the former WWE Superstar.
Or you could just let everyone know you're an asshole for free by telling them what to do with their own money. https://t.co/vEOWqJo6hC

But Kirsh went on to say that he doesn’t have any issues with Punk, his issue is with the fans.
I @ @CMPunk because these crappy fans were chanting his name.
They could have been chanting @OfficialHTM’s name and I would have @ *HIM.*
This wasn’t about Punk. It was about fans being shitty.
Nice of Punk to weigh in, though!

I didn’t say they *CAN’T.* Their money, their choice.
I’m saying to shit on the main event of the show that brought them there (and 78k others) in the first place by throwing beach balls and chanting the name of someone who they know isn’t even there is shitty.@CMPunk https://t.co/sAVnLQlfMn

CM Punk chants and beach balls have been hot topics in the world of professional wrestling, and the topic of whether or not they belong at wrestling events could be debated all day. But Punk seems to think the fans should be allowed to make up their own minds.
