Impact Wrestling Shares Throwback Video Of CM Punk

It’s been almost five years since CM Punk walked away from the world of professional wrestling, and he’s given no indication that he’s going to return any time soon.

Punk wrestled for many organizations throughout the course of his career, and he made it to the top of the mountain when he won the WWE Championship.

CM Punk also wrestled in TNA for a brief period of time, and footage from his run with the company can be seen on the Global Wrestling Network.

Impact recently shared a clip from a classic TNA pay-per-view of Punk competing in a steel cage match and the clip features some pretty brutal moments.

At this point it doesn’t seem like Punk has much interest in returning to wrestling, but with Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks possibly launching AEW, 2019 is shaping up to be an interesting year.

Punk said back in an interview back in November that he would be open to talking to The Young Bucks, and he also said an official offer was never made for All In.

“I would always listen. I would listen to them, because just like Dave, I like the Young Bucks. I text with Matt on and off. But business is business. I know Cody was out there in the media saying that an offer was made [for the All In event Sept. 1]. An offer was not made. Calling me up or texting me saying, ‘Hey, if you want to come to the show and do something, we would love that’ is not an offer. That’s not an offer.”
