Ring of Honor and New Japan aren’t the only two companies to form an international partnership in the professional wrestling world because Pro Wrestling NOAH announced that they are partnering with Impact Wrestling for their upcoming show in Yokohama on March 12th.
The two companies have worked together before and according to the press release sent out by Pro Wrestling NOAH, they have been discussing the possibility of renewing their partnership and have come to terms on a new deal. The show in Yokohama is probably just the first date out of several that will be announced down the line.
There is no word on which Impact Wrestling talents they might choose, but some might see this as a perfect opportunity for the Broken Hardys to continue their Expedition of Gold.
One name that has been brought into the picture is Moose as he sent out the following tweet to not only confirm Impact Wrestling’s new collaboration but build anticipation for the crossover.
This is just one of many moves that Impact Wrestling is making behind the scenes as Scott D’Amore is being brought back into the Impact Wrestling fold. He will pick up some creative duties, but reports are that he’ll also be taking other responsibilities as well.
D’Amore also reportedly assisted Jeff Jarrett and Impact Wrestling in smoothing out the details of their recent partnership with Pro Wrestling NOAH.
NOAH needs a shot in the arm and a new ally in the wrestling world as New Japan pulled all of its wrestlers from the promotion including the entire Suzuki-gun stable (including Davey Boy Smith Jr, Lance Archer, and Taka Michinoku) at the end of 2016. Reports came out that the relationship between the two Japanese promotions got pretty tumultuous at the end of their deal.
