Anything can happen in the world of professional wrestling. You never know who might show up in WWE, ROH, NJPW or Impact Wrestling nowadays, and it sounds like two Impact stars have parted ways with the company.
PWInsider is reporting that Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer Abyss, and Sonjay Dutt have both exited Impact.
The belief is that Dutt and Abyss are both WWE bound, and they’re expected to start with WWE shortly.
Both sides are on good terms, and the departures are said to be amicable. Impact officials reportedly didn’t want to hold Abyss or Dutt back from the opportunities they were offered with WWE.
Abyss had been working with Impact as a producer behind the scenes, and Dutt was involved with the creative side working with Don Callis, Scott D’Amore and Jimmy Jacobs.
Following Dutt’s departure, Tommy Dreamer and Konnan have been added to the Impact creative team.
