Even though Impact Wrestling might be under a new creative administration and has a new breath of life blown into their lungs so to speak, they are still not immune to common problems when it comes to production. However, some of these problems are related to other issues which have a silver lining attached to them.
PWInsider is reporting the brand new Impact Wrestling website crashed because it experienced technical issues with the server and traffic, the problem was that they were getting too much traffic on the site. The website is back up as of this posting and appears to be fully functional. Impact officials were both happy and sad at the fact the site crashed in the first place, but they are somewhat pleased due to the reason. Mixed emotions in this regard are rare indeed.
However, the website issue is not the only problem they are currently facing. If you noticed a lack of audience reaction when Alberto El Patron emerged last night in the Impact Zone it was due to the fact that there was a technical glitch with the video wall as well as losing the feeds to a handheld camera. This caused them to lose a couple minutes of audio which were gathered through microphones, which would explain the lack of pop on Pop TV.
PWInsider also notes the current storyline reasoning for Maria Kanellis not being with Impact any longer is due to a nervous breakdown. But they inserted a line which says her exit was due to contract issues, therefore if Maria ever decides to come back they have that out to use for story purposes.
