Impact Reportedly Tried To Sell Impact Wrestling To AEW

Impact Wrestling is a company with a history that’s full of ups and downs, and it was recently announced that the company will be moving their weekly TV series to Pursuit Channel in January.

2019 is going to be a very interesting year for pro wrestling, as Impact is moving networks, and it’s been rumored that Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks will be launching a promotion called All Elite Wrestling.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that there were forces attempting to sell Impact Wrestling to AEW a few months ago, but the proposal was turned down.

However, Anthem is moving ahead with Impact and one of the reasons the company has to keep the promotion alive is that Impact and UFC are the most popular programs on Anthem’s Fight Network, and they are losing UFC at the end of the year.
