For the past few weeks WWE has been teasing a fatal 4 way IC Title match for Extreme Rules and tonight on Raw they made it official. Earlier in the night Shane McMahon told Kevin Owens, The Miz and Cesaro that he was making a triple threat match for Extreme Rules but Sami Zayn objected.
Sami asked for a chance to earn his way into the match. He asked the McMahons if he could face The Miz on Raw with the stipulation being that if he won the match he would be added to the IC Title match at Extreme Rules. The McMahons told him that they liked the idea and they made the match official.
Sami Zayn ended up winning the match after he hit The Miz with a Helluva Kick. Sami secured the victory on Raw and he also secured his spot in the IC Title match at Extreme Rules. You can check out the updated card below.
