Hulk Hogan has been one of the biggest names in wrestling for decades now and WWE recently announced a multi-year partnership with his Real American Beer brand. The Hulkster appeared during Raw’s big debut on Netflix last week, but he was heavily booed by the fans at the Intuit Dome.
Even though Hogan’s appearance on the Raw premiere didn’t go over well it appears that fans haven’t seen the last of the former WWE Champion. Hulk Hogan has been featured in ads for Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 25th, and Dave Meltzer recently confirmed on Wrestling Observer Radio that he will be a part of the show.
“Hogan’s gonna be on that show on January 25th [Saturday Night’s Main Event]. When Hogan was shown on the screen in the building, they booed like crazy. It’s going to be interesting. Do they put him in front of the crowd and risk him being booed, or does he come out and maybe the crowd doesn’t boo? The other interesting one is Hogan and Jesse, they will be in the building [together]. But I don’t expect any problems.”
This week on Monday Night Raw it was confirmed that Gunther will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Sheamus will also be challenging Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship at the show.
Stay tuned for updates.
