Hulk Hogan hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since he was fired from WWE a few years ago, but it seems that he still holds out hope that one day he will be asked to return to the company and he already knows who he wants to face in his final WWE match.
Hogan recently took part in a Youtube Q&A session where he was asked which current WWE wrestler he would love to have a match with.
Hogan responded: “If I could wrestle one WWE Superstar because I probably got one left in me, it’d be Braun Strowman. Because I know that even though he’s getting over and he’s really getting over and he’s really getting over, I think that if he ran into the power of Hulkamania it’d blow him and his career through the roof. But we’d have a good time finding out what he’s made of, brother.”
Braun Strowman has been receiving a lot of positive reactions from former WWE stars over the past few weeks, but being named by The Immortal Hulk Hogan as the man who he would love to face in his retirement match proves just how far The Monster Among Men has come over the past few years.
Hulk Hogan hasn’t been able to be cleared to wrestle for a long time, so it would be interesting to see if WWE could cater to one final match for The Immortal One if he is ever allowed to return to WWE TV.
Strowman has bigger things to occupy his mind right now though since he goes one-on-one with The Beast Incarnate Brock Lesnar on Sunday night at No Mercy in his first ever singles match for the Universal Championship.
