A few years ago Hulk Hogan was dropped by WWE, and the company has rarely acknowledged the Hulkster’s legacy since then, but it looks like their stance on Hogan has changed.
Today the company confirmed Hulk Hogan is once again a WWE Hall of Famer with the following announcement:
“After a three-year suspension, Hulk Hogan has been reinstated into the WWE Hall of Fame. This second chance follows Hogan’s numerous public apologies and volunteering to work with young people, where he is helping them learn from his mistake. These efforts led to a recent induction into the Boys & Girls Clubs of America Alumni Hall of Fame.”
Hulk Hogan hasn’t appeared on WWE programming since he was fired in 2015, but he recently said in an interview that he was working toward a WWE return.
It’s been rumored that WWE officials have just been waiting for the right time to bring him back, and it’s also rumored that he could be making an appearance at Extreme Rules tonight.
