It’s been years since fans have seen Hulk Hogan on WWE programming, as he was quickly dropped from the company in 2015 after some leaked audio which featured Hogan using racial slurs surfaced online.
Since then Hogan has tried his best to repair his image, and it’s been rumored that WWE officials are considering bringing him back to the company at some point. Hogan recently spoke to TMZ, and he said that he’s ready to return, but the timing has to be right for both sides.
“For me, I’d love to change that last story that was told with the Hulk Hogan career. I’d love to get back in the fold, get back on the inside and correct a lot of stuff. It has to be the perfect timing for both sides. We’re all on good terms. We’re all working towards the same goal. So hopefully, I’ll be able to be back with my wrestling family some day soon.”
Ric Flair also commented on his friendship with Hulk Hogan and he said that they’ve really bonded over the years.
Flair noted that Hogan was the second person to visit him in the hospital when he became ill a few months ago, and that he asked Hogan for money a few years ago, and it meant the world to him that he helped him out.
