2K has been promoting WWE 2K16 as having the largest roster ever but it looks like it just got a little smaller. In the wake of the Hulk Hogan racism controversy 2K has confirmed at the request of WWE that they will be removing Hogan from the game.
2K issues the following statement to IGN:
“We are highly respectful of the way that our partners choose to run their business and manage our partnerships accordingly. We can confirm that Hulk Hogan will not appear in WWE 2K16.”
Looks like you’re going to have to use Stevie Richards as a replacement if you want to recreate any of Hulk Hogan’s classic matches.
