This year’s WrestleMania is sure to be an interesting show to say the least. It was recently confirmed that the event will be moving from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL to the Performance Center in Orlando, and for the first time ever Mania will take place with no fans in attendance.
Over the years wrestling fans have seen some epic WrestleMania matches, and The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan is one of the most talked about matches from the Show of Shows.
The anniversary of the match took place earlier this week, and Hulk Hogan reflected on his encounter with The Rock when he posted the following on Facebook:
“18 years ago today ( 3-17-02) one of the greatest Wrestlemania matches of all time went down at the SkyDome in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the second WrestleMania at that venue (following WrestleMania VI in 1990). Attendance: 68,237
Date: March 17, 2002”
