Hulk Hogan made headlines last month due to the reaction he received at the Raw premiere on Netflix, and now the former WWE Champion is making headlines once again. FOX 8 is reporting that an Akron, OH woman is suing Hulk Hogan and his beer company after she was hit with a sealed can of Real American Beer back in August.

Attorney Eric Tayfel is representing Michelle Harlukowicz who attended a promotional event for Real American Beer at Thirsty Cowboys on August 19, 2024. The lawsuit, which was filed on February 10, 2025, alleges negligence causing injury claiming that a sealed beer can was thrown an estimated 50 feet and struck the woman on her forehead.

“She had an open wound to her forehead,” Tayfel said. “It was pretty big. She ended up needing a number of stitches to her head, and she’s going to have some permanent scarring from that.”

The lawsuit claims that Hulk Hogan and other promoters threw beer cans into the crowd as they were riling people up and promoting the beer. Harlukowicz was hit by a beer can while standing near the back wall.

According to her lawyer she didn’t have a chance to avoid the beer can as she never saw it coming. Following the incident 10 stitches were required to close the wound. The lawsuit alleges that it was either Hulk Hogan, or one of the other promoters who threw beer can. Medina Township Police responded to the incident, but no charges were filed because the officers couldn’t determine who threw the beer.

The venue, Thirsty Cowboy, and the owner of the venue are also listed in the lawsuit which says that the venue is responsible for booking the promoters, and also responsible for the security of the guests.

Harlukowicz is seeking damages for medical expenses, pain, and emotional distress.
