AEW Dynamite and NXT have been going head to head on Wednesday nights since October of 2019, but recently there have been rumors claiming that NXT could be moving to Tuesday nights.
PWInsider is now reporting that the first NXT episode following WrestleMania 37 is currently scheduled to be broadcast on Tuesday, April 13. The report also notes that the production calendar for WrestleMania week lists NXT for a 4/13 taping date.
Although a permanent move to Tuesday nights hasn’t been confirmed just yet, it’s being said that all signs point to NXT making the move to Tuesday nights, with the Wednesday Night Wars ending next month.
If NXT moves to Tuesday nights permanently it would be opposite Impact Wrestling, and there’s speculation that Impact would be looking to move to Thursday nights on AXS if the move does take place for NXT.
