UPDATE: There seem to be conflicting reports regarding Bryan’s status with the company as Dave Meltzer is reporting that he has not signed a new deal.
A few months ago WWE fans were thrilled when the company announced that Daniel Bryan had been cleared to return to the ring.
However, Daniel Bryan also confirmed that his WWE deal was set to expire on September 1st, and there’s been a lot of speculation about his future with the company.
Bryan recently said that he would “most likely” sign a new contract, and it looks like the deal may be signed.
According to @TicketDrew who has broken news in the past, Bryan’s new WWE contract is a done deal.
It’s also worth noting that Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com is also reporting that Bryan has signed a new deal.
Not much is known about his new contract at this point in time, but the former WWE Champion recently expressed an interest in working a lighter schedule.
