Daniel Bryan returned to in-ring competition back in April, and since then he’s been wrestling regularly on SmackDown Live.
The former WWE Champion’s contract status has been a hot topic all year, but Bryan has said in interviews that he would most likely be signing a new contract with WWE.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the two sides have agreed to terms, and Bryan has signed his new contract.
However, it’s not official just yet as WWE has yet to sign the deal, but it’s expected that it will be officially signed very soon, possibly this week.
Daniel Bryan is currently scheduled to team up with his wife Brie Bella to face The Miz and Maryse at Hell in a Cell, and he’ll also be facing The Miz in a singles match at Super Show-Down where the winner will earn a shot at the WWE Championship.
