Huge Update On Braun Strowman’s Main Event Push

At No Mercy, Brock Lesnar defeated Braun Strowman and retained the WWE Universal Title in a tough match. The WWE Universe expected Braun to lose, but there was some hope the match would have a different result. The bigger complaint is the way Lesnar defeated Strowman.

“The Beast” defeated “The Monster Among Men” after just one F5, which many fans felt was a booking mistake that made Strowman look weak. Now, it’s unclear what his future will be as a main event star. However, CageSideSeats is reporting that Braun’s time will come soon.

The long term future for Lesnar with WWE is still up in the air. WWE officials are expected to move heaven and Earth for him to stay with the company, but they are planning for Brock to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34 and whatever happens afterward is what happens.

If Brock Lesnar remains with WWE after next year’s showcase of the immortals, the current plan is for him to resume his rivalry with Braun Strowman. In that scenario, it’s likely that the rematch would see a different result and lead to a huge push for Braun Strowman next year.
