Bobby Lashley was one of the brightest up and coming stars on the WWE roster during his run with the company, but he left on less than desirable terms when he parted ways with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2008.
Lashley then found success in the MMA world, and he also signed with Impact Wrestling where he won the World Heavyweight Championship several times. But Bobby finished up with Impact Wrestling a few weeks ago, and it’s been rumored that he’s WWE bound.
Brad Shepard of BodySlam.net is now reporting that Lashley has agreed to terms with WWE on a new deal.
As of right now there’s no word on when we might be seeing Bobby Lashley on WWE programming again, but if Lashley has indeed agreed to sign a new contract, then it’s probably safe to say we’ll be seeing him sometime shortly after WrestleMania 34 in April.
Reports of Bobby Lashley’s return have been making the rounds ever since he parted ways with Impact, and it’s rumored that WWE officials are interested in putting together a big dream match between Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar.
However, whether or not that will happen not only depends on Bobby Lashley, but also Brock Lesnar, as he’ll have to decide if he wants to sign a new WWE contract in the weeks to come.
