Huge Title Change Takes Place, Roman Reigns Returns At WWE SummerSlam

Goldberg was originally set to defend his Universal Championship against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 36, but The Big Dog dropped out of the event due to reasons stemming from the coronavirus pandemic.

Braun Strowman went on to defeat Goldberg to become Universal Champion, and on Sunday night he defended his title against The Fiend at SummerSlam.

In the end it was The Fiend who defeated Braun Strowman to win the Universal Championship for the second time in his career.

After the match Roman Reigns made his surprise return and hit The Fiend with the spear. The Big Dog went on to hit Strowman with the spear as well.

Reigns then attacked Strowman with a steel chair and then hit The Fiend with another spear. He held up the Universal Title as SummerSlam went off the air.
