Huge Title Change Takes Place On WWE Raw

This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw featured two title matches as The New Day defended the Raw Tag Team Titles, and Randy Orton defended his WWE Championship against Randy Orton.

The New Day successfully defended their belts, but Orton lost the gold to McIntyre on Monday Night Raw.

Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton faced off in the main event, and at one point Randy Orton tried to retreat with his gold.

WWE official Adam Pearce made his way out into the arena and told Randy Orton that the match was now no count out, and no disqualification.

The match continued, and Drew McIntyre ended up defeating Orton with the claymore to win the WWE Championship for the second time in his career.

Drew will now go on to face Roman Reigns in a non-title champion vs. champion match at Survivor Series.
