The stars of NXT stepped up and stole the spotlight at NXT TakeOver: New York, but one of NXT’s most dominant champions finally lost his title.
Pete Dunne has been the United Kingdom Champion for 685 days, but he dropped the belt to WALTER after a grueling match.
On Friday night at NXT TakeOver: New York, Pete Dunne’s UK Title Reign came to an end after WALTER hit him with a powerbomb from the top rope, and then followed up with a top rope splash.
WALTER is the third United Kingdom Champion in history, but it’s probably safe to say no one will be breaking Pete Dunne’s record any time soon.
