Business has been picking up on the road to Money in the Bank in recent weeks and the final qualifying match took place on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw. Trish Stratus faced off against Raquel Rodriguez and Zoey Stark accompanied Trish to the ring.
Prior to the match Raquel Rodriguez got into a tense stare down backstage and Raquel told Rhea that she’s not ready for her before walking out into the arena. Once the bell rang Raquel dominated the match early on.
At one point Trish punched Raquel in the face with her Hall of Fame ring then put Raquel in the Trish Hook, but Raquel got out. Raquel got the momentum back and threw Trish out of the ring with a fallaway slam. Trish distracted the ref while Zoey Stark swept Raquel’s leg causing her to fall on the apron. Becky Lynch then came out and destroyed Zoey Stark. She attacked Trish and the ref called for the bell.
It was then announced that Trish Stratus won the match via disqualification and therefore qualified for the women’s Money in the Bank match. Becky chased Trish off and she celebrated with Zoey Stark on her way to the back while Raquel and Becky argued in the ring.
Zelina Vega, Becky Lynch, Zoey Stark, Bayley, Shotzi, Iyo Sky and Trish Stratus have all now qualified for Money in the Bank.
